The Tournament Range Facility.

The Tournament Range is CVA’s newest archery range.

After 15 years of planning, and over a year’s time of processing public, county, state, ecological and a multitude of other agencies’ paperwork, we officially opened the new Tournament Range. Our thanks goes out to the Easton Foundation, who provided CVA with the grant funds to move this exciting project forward!

The Tournament Range is a 40 lane, 90M facility. Use of this range is for CVA Club Members, and the range will also be used during CVA-hosted tournaments for the archery community as a whole. Be sure to keep up to date on CVA’s upcoming tournaments so you won’t miss your chance to come shoot this new, exciting facility.

WHERE: The Tournament Range entrance is separate from the Main Gate entrance in Tapo Canyon Park. The address for the Tournament Range is: 5100 Bennett Road, Simi Valley, CA 93063.

JOAD Training.

CVA’s JOAD Training Program operates on the Tournament Range, on Saturdays, from 9 a.m. to noon. Students are referred to this program through attendance and evaluation at our Public Session program, so please do not show up on a Saturday without first contacting Coach Ken Downey for details on how to join the program.

CVA’s JOAD Training Program will teach mental focus and competitive mindset for archers of any level of experience. Learn proper shooting form to build strength and consistency whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced shooter.
